I`ve had this from time to time too... 90% of the time it`s fine but there`s been the odd time that it`s been painfully slow. Chrome here too.
I've had this, but usually only when I know the site is doing tasks in the early hours, UK time. If you get this again can you reply with times?
Well I can now report that for the last couple of days (complete days not just for an hour here and there) the forum for me has been horribly slow... So slow I`ve just logged out and tried again later but it`s still been the same. So slow it`s not worth trying to navigate around the place as it takes so long for stuff to load in. I tried to look at a couple of screens earlier but they just sat there, loading by the minute lol. No problems on other sites so it`s not at my end. Really hope this improves as soon as possible because it`s not worth being here (or anywhere) if things are as bogged down as they have been this last couple of days.
Here, in the last two days, the forum loads the graphics fast, but, when you change page, the windows arrow appears some secs later. Ie, the page looks loaded, but still no possibile to navigate in the forum till the arrow starts to work. IE8 user.
Mmm... seems like it`s been slow for a few of us then... Strange thing is though that nearly an hour and a half from my last post and the site does indeed, seem to be working as normal again.
uploading jpg's to me seems very slow. so much so I have to use photobucket. instead. all I get is the constant uploading sign. IE10, chrome (removed)
I was going to make a thread asking about this, I thought I might've been doing something wrong. I am also having this issue on Internet Explorer 10. I am trying to upload two jpeg's right now, but it seems to be stuck. The circles are doing their circles, but they've been circling circles for about 5 minutes now.
IE 10 user here, and forum is very slow (unusable atm). It looks like some very long script is running on backround when clicking on any link (thread), which will totally halt IE for 5 seconds or so. Mobile IE 10 seems to work correctly without halt. Also, attachment upload works only with IE compatibility mode. Native mode will halt upload process for good and upload never ends. Cheers!
Seems an IE handling issue right now. Every other browser I test loads fast, IE doesn't Sent from a mobile device using Tapatalk
I`m digging up this old thread as I`ve found the forum to be very slow over these last few days... Sometimes I click on a thread title etc and it comes up in a flash but then I go to return to the main rF2 forum (for eg) and takes about 10-15 seconds, maybe a bit longer even, to come up. I`d say mostly it`s pretty slow for me over this last wee while. Other sites/web pages etc are coming up as they usually do, pretty quickly. Anybody else experiencing this recently?
