... more render, more pleasure, more details! A lot of these parts are placeholders, anyway - so you have a good overview which details will be added and if the proportions are OK. @TIG_green @tjc Sorry, I know I stimulate your appetite, but there is many work to do. Not to mention the optimize process to get a full detail car(s), with most details on board. You also know, that creating a car is only one step, the first step, steps like physics, sound, import and paintings must follow to get a model most driving enthusiasts will purchase. BTW I think the modeling process is one of the simplest things in that working pipeline. My english is good enough!!?? I hope so.
You are doing a sweet job in here, please try to explain the process in more detail if that is possible. For instance, did you start with a blueprint? Did you measure details, or just guessed at photos? It will help a lot those of us who are dreaming some day we may model something. It maybe trivia and ordinary for you, but since it looks it will take you some time to finish this, maybe with explaining us parts of your work, you will offer us multiple enjoyment following your project
That`s all very much understood weimaraner... these things take time to do, especially if your doing all of it on your own. I have patience so no problem there. Mmm... "purchase" is an interesting word...
Maybe we should team up Terence. Ill be the team leader, youll be the lucky one who does all the easy work, modeling, physics etc. ok, maybe Ill do a little skinning
Hi, @1959nikos I know what you mean, but please have some understanding, that I don't have the time to create a extensive tutorial! BUT, - all your questions will be answered, with words, writen here or with a link to a referenz you can follow. It would be possible, you guys see it like a interview, - you will give the question and I will answer. Maybe, I will get another artist from this forum to fall into that line. ""great idea"" Yea, mostly I start by searching a practical blueprint, but unfortunately most a chunck, so I need it only as a rough reference. My opinion is to search or make photos of the desired object and take the proportion from that. A LOT OF PICTURES, every detail!!!! BTW, thanks to following my 'Bügelfalte' project.
lol... So I have to: Learn to model Learn to do physics And probably make the tea`s and coffee`s and your going to do the one thing I can do and that`s skin! Ok... when we starting...
I totally understand and respect, but Im sure you have a lot of stories you can share, Ill try to fish them out btw, you already gave me a usefull answer, ty.
Those renders are impressive just a shame there is no ray tracing in RF2 and the model will look quite different in game. Good luck getting it in game though as you sure are a modeling artist and such great work would be an awesome addition along with some nice rf2 physics.
Hey nikos and tjc, if you start the project the way nikos suggests we probably end up with something like this: View attachment 7378 Question remains: Who is Jose?
@TIG_green Definitive YES! The last time I saw a lot of postings and threads about pro and contra of payware mods and one reason to show the development progress of this mod is, for example, how much work and how much great commitment to the project is needed. In this times, with upcoming great simulators or games like rfactor2, assetto corsa, pCars etc. and increasingly complex workflows to get a model with all feature into a game, it is neccesary and in my opinion completely OK that me and the other guys will get there tribute. When this project is completed as expected, be sure, no lawyer can touch it, - I have contacted all involved companys!!! OK, but please, this is not the right thread for discussing that delicate theme!!!
