I would have tested this a few times but cannot get the missing GP79_Car 0.432 error corrected. A full explanation of how to get the mod working would be good. Sorry if the information is available and I have missed it
Arnao, I have downloaded GP79_CAR_V0.432_fix.rfcmp and placed it in the Packages folder and renamed it GP79_CAR_V0.432.rfcmp and I get only one error GP79_CAR 0.432 missing Perhaps I should delete everything and start again? Thanks
So as first post said you need to have 0.43 installed first Then just update Vehicle GP79_CARS if you already copy fix in your package Just CAR is updated with this fix CU
Thanks Jim, That is what I was doing wrong! I copied GP79_CAR_V0.432_fix.rfcmp into the Packages folder (making no change to the file name) and then clicked the Manage Mods button to access the Mod Manager. In the Mod Manager the new file was visible and marked as not installed. Selecting the option to install the new file; the process was complete. Fired up the Online Race option and selected GP79 server to test the mod and the mod was now marked as installed Job done!
Is anyone creating a league version like the rFactor1 version? All cars with Cosworth power and Williams FW07 car chassis but with all sounds from unrestricted version.
Arnao has stopped development on this mod for now. I don't think he has any plans on a league version.

This is indeed sad news, I loved where this mod was going, the work that was put into the mod was great and the new graphic's were looking really good!
Someone with the time and inclination could pick one donor car and copy that cars Power and Physics to all the others rename it GP79_League we would have a rFactor 2 GP79 mod to race.
The community should rally around this mod to get it properly set for rFactor 2 following 2014 standards, instead of the mish mosh collage of things we used to get in F1C (that were converted to rF). Giving it up now and settling for - yet another - "league physics" mod would be terrible. It's better to patiently wait for work to be resumed properly than to settle for that.
In an ideal world that is correct thing to do; however, people want an open wheel mod of this era to race in leagues now! This one seems ok, so why not apply a quick fix and lets get racing?
I don't know what F1C has to do with any of this, but if you contact Arnao, Guimengo I'm sure he'd give you permission to finish this mod off. He just moved to a new house and has a little baby at home and he is stuck on a few things (this was his first shot at modding) that he could not get past. If you want to finish it, PM him
