I'm not sure which tires we will be using, but Sunday, August 11 at Noon Eastern US time (GMT-4) we will be racing this mod at Arnao's 79Zolder- full race length of 70 laps.

Watch for the sign-up thread. Spots will be limited but those who participated in the first race are automatically accepted if they want in.

The tires have been updated. http://www.mediafire.com/?5gkm3tn9q8mcuoh we are up v0.41

These tires are not the final ones, they are going to be perfect and it is difficult to get them right so this update is one step closer.... Enjoy!

For some of you who already test it...It was a previous version so maybe You have to uninstall UPDATE and GP79_UNRESTRICTED then Re install all with the Update Above...

    Thank to all testers

All the tire compounds are usable now. Really all we have to do is to balance the tires and make them warm up a little more, so this is what we have right now. This tire set is SO much better than the last set! Lem has been working hard on these tires.

It saddened me to write that, but I'm glad it worked for you. When I uninstalled Oschersleben it was like saying goodbye to a girl I loved once upon a time!

Another one that has caused issues in the past is Eastern Creek. Many people, not just me, have reported (in past builds, I haven't tested it in a recent build) that when EC is installed, they lose the red pit box outline on other tracks. I know, weird.

Maybe You should Try LEM soft Proto Tires in garage and have a try with it... Basicly stutering are from tires choose... and it depend of your PC config...
Last try I did with new FISI tires was a mess and got a lot of stutering to... With This released ones I got no stutering... Core2Duo E8500...

    Update worked fine.
LEM soft Proto tires are great, maybe too grippy...
Tire wear looks fine, I like to see small holes disappear on those slick tires.
    Flat spot works fine too.
    thank you :)

Waayy too grippy in my opinion. Even on a green track the car turns like it's on rails and at Zolder the lap times are seconds faster than what they were back in '79. A bit arcadish :(

Agreed, they would serve well as qualifying tires though. making them last only 2 or 3 laps would do the trick for that.

Not complaining though! loving the mod, well done :)

    Hi all

So yes this LEM Soft Proto are too much grippy...as the soft and the hard ones(Renault F3.5 tires with some little modif)... LEM tires are still in alpha phase testing and all your feedbacks will help us to finalise them... I release this version because of up coming race(Guy ask me to do so...)and because of buggy hard tires in precedent version...I hope that we bring you another version of LEM tires soon... They will certainly take place of the renault ones

    Have fun

Agreed, the proto tyres are too grippy. My main focus was getting the right characteristics in them, such as making sure sliding isn't a death sentence like in the FR3.5 or FISI. As they are, I've learned all I need from feedback, so it's back to work for me soon. :)

I'll have to agree with the feeling like on rails. 1st sharp corner I took, it was startling.
