    3d models, wav's and text files don't make software so it not pay ware.

    Ales I really like what you've got so far. Only comment would be that I feel that it has too much low speed grip and it doesn't really emphasize how much grip these cars get from aero.

    hmm, I think we ve seen better cockpits at rf1, I think more work should go there, after all this is what most people will judge if its great or not.
    More detailing and better textures should be the way to go imho.

    View attachment 5820 The details are there and textures to, the video was done in evening and the sun didnt lighten everything up plus the driver position view doesnt really show everything. :)
    I worked especially on the carbon for interior that should look really good under some light.

    We did upgrade the physics to, completly new suspension and some other upgrades were done there to get bit better feeling there and ffb ofcourse. The grip stayed as those cars do have alot of it but overall it should be improvment for all.

    The cockpit looks very fine as is. I suggest adding dirt, scratched surfaces and worn out patches for the final version. It always makes stuff look more real and interesting, rather than unrealistic super sterile 3D renderings. I feel that original GT Legends proved how well that works.

    I have tested that allready but im goint more pcars way whit texturing the cockpit as i dont want to fill the mod whit to much hires textures. DDS is the main problem there, as you save it some normal dds format alot of details are gone when you add 2048x size dds whit shadow map, scratches and so on and at the end i came up whit dds 20mb big to get the right details saved in good quality. Tga didnt change anything and same goes whit bmps actually.
    The way i did it now is small diferente in textures but big one in size of the mod, textures amount and work around.
    Im hoping to add more details whit scratches and so on later in future when we have full working and final shaders.

    Well it looks awesome but im not sure how that all looks in rf2, shaders, real reflection and self shadowing are something diferent and adding new experience.     But need to have shaders finished and similar is posibile in rf2.

    Is it just me or does the transmission noise sounds a bit odd? Sounds like it would be flutter....hope you know what i mean :) beside this the sound has improved ;)

    Maybe we will add the option in future and to be part of beta testing to but for now sorry no. We want to release finished cars only for now.

    and here a nice(loud) gearbox example:


    the "fluttering" should be when deaccellerating not accelerating.

    //Edit: maybe not when deaccellerating but when stepping off the throttle very fast.

    There should be different engine sound when using cockpit view and when using hood view.

    Kinda terrible noise in the second video :D

    So we adjusted now the whine gear sound, like some sayed had to revert it only.

    @PorscheMR6 thanks for the first video, didnt found that one somehow.
