with current version pressing "Request to...." then because I don't have a mailto: link setup something decided to open IE window after IE window!!!! Lucky I was able to open task manager and shutdown the IExplore process before it filled up my RAM. Not happy with that!
Yes I understand that... but it may cause major problems for people that don't know how to shut 50 instances of internet explorer down!
seriously now. That does not happen here. You have some problem in your system. try install chrome and let chrome handle the mailto.
I have chrome installed, don't need the mailto: assigned. Just letting you know of the bug when it is not assigned.

Quick question Mario.. I have a spline with a number of elevation points, I can load it into 3Ds Max no worries but it takes some time to load (have a coffee, wait some more and then it's up (this on 24gb ram).. Is it possible to make your tool read the elevation section from what I select (from the spline) rather than reading the whole spline 1st.?..

KML or CSV, both take ages to load due to the number of points, hence asking the question if selecting a section of the spline before reading the elevation would reduce this.. Number of points, about 2400.
When import the kml use "skip points" to reduce the number of points. Can normalize the spline after import. Can use this script

PointCloud tools was coded in C# using MAX.net is free for non-commercial use and the Commercial license is USD$675 per 5 seats of 3d Studio Max! . To turn PointCloud tools comercial need to convert the code to c++ and make a plugin.
Attention when creating road EDGES and Terrain Panels!. This kind of track objects use the modifier "Turn to Poly" modifier and when the line is crossed the modifier don't work and the result is a none mesh. To fix need to split the lines in different objects to avoid the crossing. I will try add a easy split function asap.
