    Hi,

A have an Compaq CQ43 with Intel Core i5, 4Gb, Windows 7 and an Intel HD 3000. This configuration run rFactor very well (F3 MOD, 150 ftp average). My question is, with this notebook can i play rFactor 2???

As there is no way to test the game before buying, I wonder if it will work before buying the game.

Hi Araujo, It will work (I think) but not very well at all. The game is still in beta phase so you can purchase it and ask for a refund if it doesnt work. The refund window is two months from the date you purchase the game from what I remember. So there wont be any harm in giving it a try.

Hi Nige, thank you for the cordiality as answered my questions. I'm willing to take the test, but if someone has already tested and could share the experience I'd appreciate it.

I have overclocked my hd3000 from 1100 to 1900 Mhz and it is unplayable (below 20 fps) with low settings. Do yourself a favour and stick with rF1.

Agreed. rF1 looks better on highest settings than rF2 on lowest and because of the low FPS in rF2 you won't enjoy the new physics anyway. Best to save money for a proper system when rF2 goes gold :)

I'm running an Intel HD3000 myself as well now, still saving for a proper graphics card ;)
    (Still playing RFT2011, awesome mod)

Aha! HDR and FXAA are turned on in my settings, lets take it for a spin with them off :)

    edit:
fps still sucks, I'll keep saving and enjoy devving with rF2 instead :)

Awesome, atleast its working. Should be better when theres more tweaks done to the graphics engine. So hang in there. :)
