I was in a session online, when in practice FFB works nice but when practice was over and race starts FFB was gone.

When i got out of Rfactor2 and go to Iracing the degrees of rotation were blocked @580 (this were the degrees that i left exiting rfactor2). I had to go to profiler (they were @900) just had to press OK.

I have enable for Rfactor to put the right steering degrees for each car.

You can assign a button to 'reset ffb' in the options somewhere.

I have lost FFB before as well, but it has not happened to me online yet. I seem to loose it after restarting an offline game. The Reset FFB function has resolved it however. I use a T500.

I lost FFB when online last week as soon as the race started. Have not set a reset button yet but will do that now. Thanks for the reminder folks.
