Poznan Circuit by SimRacing.pl - WIP

    This is quickly becoming my favorite track. It reminds me a lot of Pannoniaring in Hungary where I race my motorbike - very similar in visual apperance. The layout is great, and the idea to have trackday/race weekend versions is perfect.

    One minor thing though - after Build 240 it seems the Pit Exit lights no longer work? They are neither red nor green, they are just not iluminated at all. Should I maybe reinstall the track?

    I don't believe reinstall will solve this. Things change in rF2 with each build and sometimes they do not work until further builds are released. Just ignore it if it doesn't bother you too much.

    Thanks, just wondered if it's my own install or the update (in which case others will have the same problem...)

    Feels just a suggestion for Poznan. :eek:

    The first left turn, the slow one, there is a very good opportunity for overtaking if not the best on the circuit.
    Maybe an improvement with the track side cams is possible there as the current cams don't catch the braking zone at all which is THE hot spot on the circuit IMO. :D

    Hi - just discovered this track -- looks beautiful!

    But, the trees seem to be transparent? And I think it might be an issue to me. Any reason why and how to solve?

    You just discover this track? Where have you been man? :)

    You need to turn of Transparency Antialiasing or something like that in .PLR file, find that line and change from "1" to "0"

    :eek: Does that mean you haven't tried Putnam either?

    Poznan is one of my favourites :)

    You can also solve this by not using the in-game anti-aliasing and instead set AA in the Nvidia/AMD drivers.

    Hello Feels3, thanks for this great track first of all! Stunning track.

    Perhaps someone asked you already and you have given answer to it, but couldn't find it right away, so I hope you are willing to give me an answer.

    I was looking to use your track in a league, but with a testrace when someone spon and got into the grass, he fell of the track and was back in garage, race over. (it wasn't that far off the track imo) It's real concern for me to be able to use this track in a league.
    Is it possible when you update the track to make invisible walls instead of falling of the track?
    A wall gives damage but atleast gives you a change to repair your car.

    Well when I was making the screenshots for you, I realised now that most of it is about the insideline of the circuit, where the treeline starts. It is normal that someone's race is finished, but it would still be my preference that it would be a solid wall simulating hitting trees. It happends quit a lot in the first highspeed corner that when people collide and spin and go to the infield, they have their cars almost stopped but fall of the circuit instead of damage to the front of the car. This is on more places on the circuit where there are trees on the infield. There is a line where you can fall off that is not towards the treeline, if you decide to keep the solution you have now (I hope not), it would be nice if you could adjust this line a little bit backwards towards the treeline for this place.

    When I reported this issue, I had fallen of track at the back of the straight, but didn't manage to replicate it now. If it will happend again I will make a screenshot, I can't find the mod of the replay so can't look at that situation again. Besides me someone else in the race reported the same thing to me.

    And if the trees can be fixed that would be great.

    Poznan Update 1.01

    Here is my Update for Poznan 1.0. Took me a while to figure some things out (especially the second pit path).

    The main reason for this update was the slow AI, but I also added some new cams and two new hdr profiles.

    Fixed stuff as far as I can remember.

    AIW
    Modified the corridors. Curbs are now raceable surface.
    Tweaked some slow downs in the fast path.
    Deleted the second pit path.
    Reduced the pit spots to 15 (was 30 before. Two cars have the same pit spot now).
    Block path added.

    TV cams
    Modified LOD multipliers for the original cams (Camera Group 1).
    New tracking cams (Camera Group 2).
    New static cams (Camera Group 3).

    HDR
    Two hdr profiles included (No need copy them manually into the track folder).
    One profile with bloom, one profile without bloom.

    To install, copy the file to the packages folder and select update in mod manager.
