@ whiplash : Absolutely agree.... leagues would definitely benefit from this kind of function. Instead of the standard compound selections have a comb box setup eg: [ <Compound> ] [<Set #>] This way, over a race weekend a driver could re-use a partially worn set. And a server could provide you with X number of compound A, Y Number of Compound B etc. etc.
Yep agree this is really a must have in a modern racing sim as nearly all race categories have limited amounts or tyres per session or weekend and it would be good to be able to re use old tyres after going to the pits if you want to. Also going to the point of making sure damaged wheels or tyres stay damaged so if you wreck a set you cant use them again or you need to use a damaged tyre which would be rather pointless. Considering Webber retired from Monza with only a couple laps to go due to bad flat spots caused by a spin, with no contact with a wall it shows you do that to a set your not going to be using them ever again.
