Interestingly I am not normally a very forgiving person in real life, but I am on a forum, perhaps a bit too much. Many people I might have banned for life when I was younger are given another shot a few months later. Not much annoys me these days except a fairly obvious lack of respect. I don't have a personal problem with bad language, etc, but can't allow it too much on the forum. I would like to have some other mods, but I'd be concerned with consistency. Plus, unlike on other devs forums, we don't tend to censor negative opinion, just negative persons - and I kind of like it that way.
*shrug* I dont think this forum is lacking in moderating. You can have many mods and then you will be spending most of your time trying to organise them so you all have the same attitude. Most of the many moderators populated forums tend to be places where you cant have an interesting discussion, if the thread becomes a bit more lively it is shut down in case it might offend. Eventually posters censor themselves and the result is a boring soup. This place here is vibrant, it never went boring and it is your making with not interfering with discussions up to the point they went personally offensive. You are doing good, keep up at the same pace please.
I have zero issues with Tim's moderating. One issue is that we expect him in addition to forum moderator to be PR guy, tech expert, customer support help line, boxing ring referee, etc., all at the same time 24/7.
spot on marc. my point was more the personal attacks on some forum users swearing is part of life these days and good quality argumentative chat is great.
On our Web site, where it says help, there's some helpful information: http://rfactor.net/web/docs/whats-the-refund-policy/

Dice, I listed a ton of third party cars and tracks, in the other thread, that I auto-download just fine when trying to join online servers the past few months. Can you be more specific? You may PM me
For third-party content, look here: http://www.nogripracing.com/files.php?maincat=12 http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/categories/rfactor-2.3/ For all ISI content, just here on the main site: http://rfactor.net/web/rf2/rf2dl/ Just beware a lot of third-party content is sub-standard when compared to stock ISI material especially those at "2014 standards."
You'll never be able to find every bit of content. Some of it hides, because some of it isn't legal and doesn't even want to be found. If you read tonights new build news post, you'll see something is coming which will make this better. http://rfactor.net/web/2014/09/19/rfactor-2-build-860-now-available/
