tj I am using utorrent and used the skip feature this time to only download the files that I needed when you skip files in a torrent that large it immediately causes a disk 100% overload... tick meaning select? I found a workaround for the disk overload but it all just is getting pretty complex and i seem to spend more time upgrading than racing.....actually Im sure of that...thanks for your help
Chopslide... It can save a lot of time if, once you have the main tracks torrent downloaded, you just download the updates or single new tracks individually from the main (http) download links and manually put them into your Packages folder. Try the torrent by all means as it might download quite quickly but if not try the method I`ve suggested above as I know what you mean... it can seem like more time is spent updating everything than actually driving sometimes. Hope this helps.
thks hec I think I can manage the dloads but it is hard to keep track of what v of what and vmod of what and ....bla I love the mod aspect of this game but it can never be popular because of the complexity..... I just really want to race I understand beta
I will try to learn how to incorporate the BT-20 as a pace car, replacing Clio, on a one track per vMOD basis. That way, you'll just have to worry about getting one track to use the vMOD. This system has worked well at the F3 Fanatics! server. I will try to learn how to modify and add a track's rfm file, this weekend. Wish me luck! Bryan
Chopslide, try downloading into one folder higher - you have written that you set download location to: C:\Users\User\Downloads\Documents\Documents\rFacto r2\Packages try setting it to C:\Users\User\Downloads\Documents\Documents\rFacto r2 It should automatically search for Packages folder and then check all files that are in the torrent. So this will cause high disk usage but the good thing is you don't have to do anything more. If you are bothered by disk usage just do what tjc suggested - when you add a torrent you can select it in utorrent and at the bottom there is a Files tab. Select all files, right click and select Don't Download, then select only files that are new and again right click on them and select Priority (doesn't matter what you select High/Normal/Low). This will download only files that you want/that you selected.
Is anyone else having trouble with Silverstone 70 0.2 ? It doesn't show in my tracks, and yes I installed it.
How did i miss this one, great idea thanks alot. Hope you have time to keep updating and people keep seeding
go in game offline, press track and you see button at top of page that says list view. DJ says that if you press list view, your track will appear. List view is the rf1 look, spinner view is rf2 look.
Glasses ? Me too mate lopl Bit hard to see for faint of sight, all right for these young whippersnappers. hehehe
Thanks nikos, After all this time I missed this. "The A.I. at silver are bad" ....an update is required ( LOL DurgeDriven) I am 75...no kiddin
lol, I use three pairs of glasses atm, one for driving, one for small detail and one for sim driving. I must buy a 4th pair so I can search for rest, I tend to loose them around.
I think having to set list-view has something has something to do with a weird setting in the track. I remember seeing a few posts on another track that doesn't load with list-view, you have to load it up from the other view.
