Hello guys and gals I've got a quick little question Does track ir work with rfactor2 as I'm just waiting for mine to turn up getting excited lol They work great with flying sims so here's hoping its good for racing Cheers Jay
Cheers for the quick reply The posty delivered my trackir to next door cos I was out now he gone out just waiting for him to come back lol I used to use facetracknoir for my flying games it works well but hopefully trackir works better
I love my trackIR in rFactor2, works very well. I have the the Cap Clip and Headphone Clip fittings, but find the cap less intrusive.
I tried: * facetracknoir: to much lag (imho). detection didnt always work. if detection lost you can end to look somewhere at race. -> didnt work for me. * freetrack: selfmade cap with three leds. detection works good. less lag. but implemented trackir protocoll doesnt work with rf2 -> doesnt work with rfactor2 * trackir 5: works out of the box. using the cap clip. detection works very good. good resolution. no lag. -> works great with rfactor2 only problem was that i got a sick feeling (maybe due to using it with stereoscopic 3D). but after getting used to it for one day, the sick feeling disappeared.
I use it as well as 3D vision but I don't feel sick from it. I love it and brings the game even closer to life.
