Yes please,I would love to see more 60's Classic tracks,ISI have shown they are in a class of their own building these beautiful old tracks, maybe we can expect a 60's Nurburgring,Silverstone,Brands Hatch(a particular favourite) or a 60's Zandvoort, bring 'em on ISI so far I like what I see.
My wish would be - Go to the Alternative Track Database for GPL. Have a look at the 75 most downloaded tracks, and create them all for RF2!! I'm talking Targa, Isle of Man, the Ring, Montjuich, Clermont Ferrand, 65 Brno, Schottenring, Kyalami, Monthlery (personal favourite!), Halle Saale Schleife, Brands Hatch, 37 Donington, Dundrod.........I could go on and on! Much as I love RF2, I miss those circuits so much. Real character, hugely evocative and beautifully created by fantastically talented people. Modding legends as far as I'm concerned.
I`d like to add my name to this wish list too guys as I`d love to see more historic circuits done by ISI. I still drive Gpl although not on any kind of regular basis now, so it would really cool to have some of the old tracks done for rf2. The 60`s cars they`ve done are just too good (and will improve) to not have more ISI created historic tracks for them so here`s hoping.
Dammit argo0 I WANT MY BRAIN AND THOUGHTS BACK!!!!!! You said everything I came here to say, pretty much verbatum!
GIVE THIS MAN A CIGAR!!! This is an idea I can DEFINITELY get behind! Absolutely please bring these tracks to rf2...*ESPECIALLY* Dundrod and Isle of Man!!!!!! Urbanya and Solitude also!!!!!!!!!
Agree, would love to see these tracks come to rFactor2. I can't get enough of the driving the open wheel 60's cars at the rFactor2 Spa, Monza and Monaco, those tracks are so well done. Can't wait till the data base opens up and more vintage tracks come on line!
Yep argoO, evocative tracks.. I'd love to see ISI make the original Zandvoort like Ed has said, but any of the above please
And tie all the cars and tracks together in championships (1967 etc like the great Slimjim rfactor mod)
I would especially like to see Solitude join the nice tracks that we have from the 60's. I know that there was no small amount of consternation when the "F1 Classic cars" were released, but it was the mainstay of my race gaming activity until the beta release of rFactor 2. Is there any chance that those cars 65 through 68 might again be brought into the the finest to be produced race simulation to date, rFactor 2?
+1 ; fastest way to differentiate rF2 IMO ; amazing GPL has survived this long but the gaping hole of content persists ; on the other hand the only way to gain content is for modders to be motivated and/or ISI to create it ; clearly oval is the priority ATM and modern stuff is competing strongly as well as updates to existing content vs new content etc etc etc so we'll just have to see i guess ; maybe gjed will help...
Clermont-Ferrand is by far the most interesting historic track in my book. It's just thriling and also such a beautiful sight. It would be a dream to race the 60's there.
