Brianza AI issue and RFMOD query

Hi all newbie here..apologies for any naivety here but can someone tell me how I can race at Brianza against the rest of the 60s classic F1 cars? Every time I set it up I get the ISI F3 (F1 maybe lol) cars racing against me??

Also is there one area where I can access all the extra RFMOD files etc, available outside the standard stuff in build 90? ie. Croft, Snetterton 300 tracks etc rather than trawling throught the forums to find the files?

Hope this all makes sense..any help would be much appreciated..never tried out a Beta before ;-)

 

In the event options button on the main menu screen. At the bottom in the middle roughly there is a dialog box that lists all the available classes. Just make sure the F1 cars have a check mark and everything else has an X (you may have to scroll down in the box to see everything).

As far as the other stuff, you'll have to search around a bit to find the files unless someone posts some links for you.

 

Thanks for the swift reply Ryno..any idea where I get the Brabham BT classic car? Thought it was available in the latest build..

 

It should be in Tim's downloads thread, where the rest of the official download files are. I'm not sure if it's an update to the historics or a standalone thing, though; can't remember. I know Croft is available here (at least, there's a link in the Croft WIP thread).

Anything else I'm not sure of, as Croft is the only non-official thing I've downloaded for rf2 so far (and I still haven't had the time to give it a spin! )

 

The Brabham comes as part of the v1.1 historics update.

Strange I downloaded the v1.1 60s update and put it in my updates folder but no Brabham still..I'm overlooking something probably..us newbies eh..

At first game screen press Managemods. There, right click at update v1.1 and install.

 

Will do..sure I did that lol...will check again..great game btw..driving physics best I've experienced ever..

 

MODs/vMODs/Tracks etc should go in the 'Packages' folder. The 'Updates' folder is for updating the build of the base game, e.g. build85 to build90.

Any setups about for the BT20 at Brianza etc??

 

Start with 60:40 bias braking. That will give you more stable brakes. For the rest, Im not qualified.

Downloaded Snet 300..is there only certain series/cars you can race on there at the moment?...tried Clio Cup cars but crashed my pc..
