Watched these a few weeks ago, very interesting. Didn't really know where to post these, so i put them here. If you like them, you can download them both for free on I-Tunes. "Truth in 24" chronicles the Audi Sport racing teams as they attempt to win a record fifth consecutive 24 Hours of Le Mans. The films gives viewers an unprecedented behind-the-scenes view of the strategies engineers and drivers use as they set out to make history against local favorite, Team Peugeot. Jason Statham narrates. The Truth in 24 - II
Shame about the awful nurator and his childish script , also the ESPN HD bar lol what the hell is that about ? The times when its just interviewing people or showing raw camera shots are good and interesting though.
Nothing i can do about the espn bar. You can download it from itunes minus the bar for free. Bugger all i can do about the script either.
Thank you for the link, I'm kinda new to simracing and haven't cared at all for actual racing before but I am getting into it as I learn more about how cars work and that sorta stuff, the engineering part is defenitly as much fun as the racing, but they never get the credit and they don't get to shoot champagne on the winners podium.
Mr. Ulrich is one clever dude, I love his stuff in the first Truth in 24 about noise being a form of energy, less noise more go...very logical!
You mean Mr. Beretsky (Ulrich Beretsky). Mr.Ulrich could mistakenly referred to Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich, the head of Audi Motorsport. Both of them are clever which account for Audi's dominance for the last few years. The iTunes version's the best for being less compressed. Although it's free, only a few regions in the world are allowed to download the documentary- being in Canada, I can't. There's a way around it: pick a free App from the App store in iTunes and enter a new account info (making sure you use a different email address if you already have an iTunes' account) using any US business address. On the next page, pick "None" when asked for your method of payment. Voila- you have an account that you can now download "Truth in 24 II" in full 1080p as well as the first "Truth in 24" in HD (Canadians, for example, only have access to Standard Definition of the documentary).
