I have a few times, but the wet physics are pretty bad so far, the Meganes seem to have MORE grip in the rain.

this result was did with this procedure?

1- Use a replay that you can download here
2- Set cockpit camera to Ronald Lee (last car on grid)
3- Click play, turn on Fraps benchmark setting, click Enter to Go fullscreen
4- Let it finish near chicane on second lap and stop fraps.

Theres something strange with your result m8... How its possible to get higher results than [NAR]Steve with a HD6950...

    Strange...

Yes, nearly. I used your linked Replay and Ronald Lee with cockpit-view, but i stopped fraps after one round at the finish-line.
I will run another replay with your settings and stop at chicane to see the difference.

OK here it is with 1680x1050 FXAA and all settings exactly as in your attachements. I let the replay run till the end.

    Fraps:
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
    19069, 218776, 67, 122, 87.162

btw: FXAA looks better in the mirrors than MSAA level 3

    Thanks m8 :)

174% more performance than my system. LOL

Hardware i was thinking to buy is almost like yours except board that i prefer Asus Rampage IV Extreme and GPU i need to decide yet...

Was good to compare now with a HD 7970. Teoricaly i think that HD7970 with give about 60 fps with same settings but if someone can test it...

nVidia is a lot faster than Ati in scenes with detailed geometry and many polygones.
Thats one reason Microsoft FSX and XPlane 10 are running much better with GTX680 than HD7970.

My GTX680 is also rather quiet and cool for a Highend-Card, Frames-per-Watt-ratio is very good.

The CPU is a bit of an overkill, but I don't want to upgrade every year and I like systems with Servertechnology and a lot of Memorybandwith.

    System:
    i5 2500K @ 3.6GHz
    8GB
    Win7 64bit
    GTX560ti 448 cores 1.28GB

    FULL SETTINGS 1680x1050
    Avg: 77 - Min: 64 - Max: 93

    PLAYABLE SETTINGS 1680x1050
    Avg: 104 - Min: 91 - Max: 120

I could never detect any visual difference between 16x ON or OFF, or FXAA ON or OFF, though frame rates seem to be effected. I turned them ON in both nvidia control panel and game. FOV makes some difference so you might want to establish a setting for that. I ran this at vert FOV 50.

    Hi,

with the following CPU/GPU I get:

    AMD 965BE @ 4ghz
    7970 standard

    full detail: FXAA
    Min 25 max 54 avg 41.399

confirms that AMD and RF2 are not yet in love...

Posted for a laugh version II...

    i7-2770K@4.8GHz running cold (coolermaster V6)
    8GB DDR3 2000MHz
SLI 580 GTX twin-frozen x 900 Mhz each, cold too.
    MB Sabertooth z77.

    Full Settings

    Min - 90 fps
    Avg - 110 fps
    Max - 165 fps

    BUT

Totally unplayable. FPS information are screwed, it seems less than 10 FPS because of stuttering.
