Guys, I've been trying to set up a 5.1 surround system, which has failed because rFactor 2 doesn't seem to properly support it. However, it has highlighted an even more bizarre issue. Even with the tyre sound effects at maximum, when the engine is running, the tyre screeching when locking up, wheel spinning or scrubbbing during turning are impossible to hear. If you turn off the engine on the straight, then lock up the front tyres, you can just about hear them, but it is incredibly quiet. As I don't know what other sounds there are, maybe there are more sounds I can't hear. Anyone else find this? Les
err, that could be it! Having said that, in the 60's mod, I can hear the tyre sound much more easily now, in the Renault mod it is still impossible
