Guys, the HUD on the Masters 2011 mod has become corrupted, I want to report this to the developers - how should I do so?

Simpy attach a screenshot here and shortly describe the problem, and it should be noticed :) .
Before you do so, I suggest doing a forum search for 'HUD', in case it has already been reported.

here's a screen shot, the HUD has half the tyre heat info missing.

I am also getting an issue with HDR where every three second, the screen darkens by maybe 25%, almost like the sim is trying to simulate driving under a bridge.

Old old bug, been in the game right from the beginning, been posted about many many times too.

As for the HDR I've no idea I don't use it as I have a low spec PC and have to run with most of the eye candy off in order to maintain decent FPS. :(

That's kinda what I meant with the 'HUD' forum search, yes :) .

No clue about the HDR issue here either. Is this happening on all tracks? Is it happening with all cars?

sorry, yes, the dimming light thing is happening on all tracks and cars I've tried. I have a dual 5770 setup on crossfire, 4Gb ram, Core 2 duo 3 Mhz, win 7 64bit. it affects nothing else, and sometimes it's a two stage dimming, and has no effect on framerate. It's irritating, but no more than that

Ah, probably because the search string was too short ... that's silly :) .

OK, that's a very peculiar HDR issue ... I'll pass it on. In the meantime, if anyone else has experienced this, feel free to reply here :) .

Yep, that is EXACTLY what I'm getting. A common theme is that we are both using twin Radeon cards in Crossfire, in my case they are 5770's

A common pattern is a good starting point for troubleshooting. :)

Added info: the issue starts to happen to the italian user after one or two stints, never in the first stint.

    Can you confirm?

I have the same issue. Radeon 4870x2. The screen is darkening every few seconds. Like clouds are passing over. Running rFactor2 in windowed mode with the same resolution as when running fullscreen solved the problem.

Ok, thanks for pointing to a workaround.

I linked this thread in the internal ISI forum.

For what it's worth, I have the exact same setup except no crossfire and don't experience this issue.

what card do you have - a single ATI 5770? If so, what frame rates are you getting, for comparative purposes? Please tell me the settings so I can try the same and see how many I get. For info, I used RadeonPro to test

    Yeh a single ATI 5770.

At Monaco, I get between 35-60fps depending where I am.
rF Config AA = 0, ingame = trilinear., HDR on
All details on full or on except:
    - car reflections off
    - wind/crowd off
    - shadows low
    - opponent detail medium

Thanks. I'll do a cross check on the same specs with crossfire enable and disabled. I might even go so far as to remove one of the cards and try it to see if there is a difference between running one card and two cards with one disabled.

As the reason for opening up the rig will be to put in more ram (from 4 to 8) I will do a back to back to see if this makes any difference too. May be the weekend before I get to do this, though
