Awesome news! I hope this means that we will get modern "Brianza" eventually as well... Actually, it would be cool if the track packager would just allow in general the ability to have the same location from different eras; not just the layouts, but trackside objects, etc. to reflect the era of the track.
Awesome news! The only rF2 news I care about is vintage content But to be honest, I kinda saw this coming I can't wait to drive this track...the versions for rF were pretty pathetic. The one in pCARS, which was taken from S2U, is pretty cool, but you can't go on the combined layout (and IIRC, the track is way too smooth overall).
OMG! It's deja vu all over again. Compare ZA_023.jpg to this! It's a frame captured from a video clip I made in 2011. View attachment 2655 I can't wait to race this thing. WTG ISI! Looks great. Here's the clip, password=banking. https://vimeo.com/43224267
I walked the Pista di Alta Velocità Monza banking last year. Even though I've seen countless photos and videos, I still couldn't believe how steep it was. Without the aid of a fence, it's really difficult to walk to the top. Here are two pics I took which give a good impression (like the on above posted by Ricknau):
Don't forget the new Brabham BT-20. Here are a couple shots of it in Formula A configuration. Great stuff, ISI!
" 2 Configurations" = thant means 2 layout and the rest 4 layouts cooming later? thanks for that big track ! Thats the first big track i am waiting for !!!
Actually the oval section was not paved with asphalt, but with concrete and it was crazy bumpy. Look to the travel of the front wheels from sec 27 to the end of the turn
@PLAYLIFE, did you watch any cars go by at speed from where that personnel tunnel emerges on the back side of the banking? Most incredible viewing site on the planet! You're 15 feet away from a flat out full trottle F1 car! Ear splitting! I got vid if anybody wants to see it.
