In the RFConfig: Anti Aliasing levels 1/2/3 > How does this reference to the ATI cards that have: Anti Aliasing levels X4/X8 ~ Edge detect X12/X24? Do we need to check FXAA with AA @ level 3? Sorry if this is a dumb question just trying to improve overall visual quality.
One of the reasons I use CCC to control AA, and not the game settings. And it seems to work better. Level 3 should correspond to 4xAA - third option in CCC, 1st being 2x, 2nd being 2xEQ, etc. I also have FXAA checked (see my post) 'Edge detect' changes the method of AA application, and as I understand, is independant of the level of AA applied.
