No Games Available in Online Race - SOLVED!!!

Carrying this problem report over from Build 69: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/4791-No-Games-Available-in-Online-Race

I still cannot see any games in online race. Just upgraded to Build 85, no change at all.

    System specs still the same:

    Windows:
OS Name: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
OS Version: 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
    OS Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation
    OS Configuration: Standalone Workstation
    OS Build Type: Multiprocessor Free
    Registered Owner: root
    Registered Organization:
    Product ID: 00426-OEM-9154315-66886
    Original Install Date: 27/11/2010, 20:14:42
    System Boot Time: 26/05/2012, 10:22:36
    System Manufacturer: System manufacturer
    System Model: System Product Name
    System Type: x64-based PC
    Processor(s): 1 Processor(s) Installed.
    [01]: Intel64 Family 6 Model 44 Stepping 2 GenuineInt
    el ~1728 Mhz
BIOS Version: American Megatrends Inc. 0602 , 24/03/2011
    Windows Directory: C:\Windows
    System Directory: C:\Windows\system32
    Boot Device: \Device\HarddiskVolume1
    System Locale: de;German (Germany)
    Input Locale: de;German (Germany)
Time Zone: (UTC+01:00) Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Rome, Stockholm,
    Vienna
    Total Physical Memory: 12,279 MB
    Available Physical Memory: 6,075 MB
Virtual Memory: Max Size: 12,277 MB
    Virtual Memory: Available: 5,589 MB
Virtual Memory: In Use: 6,688 MB

Turning Windows firewall completely off makes no difference. Experimenting with port forwarding settings (which only should be necessary for running a server anyway, but nonetheless) makes no difference.

I am really starting to get a little desperate here. The community I am racing with is probably going to move on from Live for Speed to rFactor 2 soon and I would really hate to find myself sidelined. :( If there is any information I can provide, stuff I can test, etc etc I am available for it.

    Cheers.

Another interesting point: I can host a dedicated rFactor 2 server on the very same machine and it successfully connects to Matchmaker and people can join it and race on it.

I am quite sure now the issue must be somewhere on the ISI server side - perhaps the Matchmaker uses some sort of geolocation for clients and does not recognize/like my IP? Or maybe something went wrong with my rFactor 2 account and it's somehow not eligible or banned from online racing?

Found the problem: Apparently the matchmaking service has issues if your account password contains special characters like @,%,; and the like. I suspect the autoupdater has the same issue as it has never worked for me before either. I reset my password through the purchase tab in the launcher and kept it to letters and numbers this time and voĆla - the server list is populated.

I cannot tell exactly what special character in my old password was to blame and I do not want to reset my password a couple more times right now to find out, but I can do so on request (by ISI).

Do a clean reinstall of the latest build (not upgrade).
