No headlight illumination

I've just tried a night session for the first time and found that the headlights are not illuminating anything. The headlights on the car appear to be on, but they aren't lighting anything up. I did a completely clean install after that, but it's still the same.

Settings are maxed out, with HDR and FXAA on. Graphics card is a ATI Radeon HD 6850.

 

Same here with a 5850. 11.12 drivers, I'll try with 12.4 this evening.

Yes, I noticed the same thing. ATI 6990, catalyst 12.4.

I tried to modify different settings (shadows, shadow blur, special effects, texture filters) but I didn't manage to get better results.

 

I'm on the 12.4 already, but I hope they do the job for you.

I would like to add though that the performance of the game itself has improved massively in this new build.

The Lights Come on but no light spread.

 

posted elswehere but yes I get no headlights, just some Sprite 2D effect at the front of the car, same goes for lighting at tracks (Joesville for example), 2D light sprites instead of actual lighting.
