Hi all! I play rF2@100+ fps average, but with this build I have noticed
heavy stuttering, doesn't matter screen resolution/setting etc., it's unplayable!
In the first build I solved the problem enabling "flush previous frame" and everything works like charm until 85 Build!
Plus I have noticed that my CPU ingame goes to 100%, meanwhile in the previous build, the % was around 55/75%.

    My specs:
    Cpu: AMD quad@2.5
    Ram: 4GB
    VGA: GTX560
    OS: Win 7 X64
    Driver ver: 301.42

Just to check, did you also try to disable AA?

Thanks, disabling FXAA helped me a lot, but in this build I have to give the AA, how bad :(
    (I'm OP!)

I'm getting heavy stuttering as well on the same settings I used for the last build.

1920x1080, 4xAA, 8xAF, HDR on or off makes no difference.

I've tried all the syncs; software, GPU, & video.

Are you running the latest nv drivers (301.xx), and if so, have to tried re-installing them after installing rf2 build 85? I had similar lag / stutter / slowmo problems (fps would display in the hundreds, but it felt like five or less at times ;)) which were fixed by an nv driver re-install.

Hope this helps, it may be worth a try.

    Cheers, Uwe

    Thank you so much hoover!
A deep cleaning with Driver Cleaner Pro and reinstalling the latest driver it helped me a lot, so problem solved!
Moreover it seems that the overall performance are better than before :)

Seems like I'm the only person who hasn't been able to resolve this stuttering issue... :( !!

So far I have tried clean installs of latest Nvidia drivers, clean install of RF2, single screen and triple screen, single gpu and sli gpus, all combinations of AA HDR on/off etc ... nothing is helping!! Any ideas guys??

Did you try with the "flush previous frame=1" setting in the .PLR file?

There is a serious 3D clock bug in the nVidia 301.xx drivers. The core clock gets stuck at 50MHz even when 3D games are running.

I'm using the 302.59 developer drivers which are confirmed to not have that bug. No more stuttering here.

Gonna try these developer drivers in a minute, are they listed with the beta drivers on Nvidias site? Buddhatree are you using the flush previous frame?

Okay so tried the Flush previous frame =1 makes no difference, downloaded the 302.59 and did a clean install and if anything the stuttering was 10 times worse!!

Trying a fresh install of 301.10 now to see if that helps .... arrgghhh!!!

Try to clean your PC registry with the help of a software like Driver Cleaner Pro, it helped me to fix the bug with the 301.42

Right, it seams all of my problems stem from having 2 graphics cards in my rig. Taken out one 680 and running triples now with zero stutters on the 301.42 drivers, happy now I can actually play :D

    I got them from Guru3D: http://downloads.guru3d.com/Videocards---NVIDIA-ForceWare-Vista_c32.html

No I don't need to use flush frames with these drivers. Everything is smooth.

NOTE* The developer drivers do not come with PhysX. You need to download and install separately.

Yeah, tried them with and without Flush and installed physx, for me with SLI they didn't help. Everything smooth with a single 680 and triple screens so at least I'm up and running again.
