F3-ROOKIES:

First thanks to 200+ of you to date who have made my room a great place for Rookies.

I can only run 8 cars as most of you know but you can always drop in when you waiting to race elsewhere, much welcome.

AIDS:

My room is set thus, 0-100% damage, auto gears, auto clutch.

Also you now have ESC to Pits with no need to stop the car, so get used to hitting
this key fast will help avoid pileups if your car is damaged on track unable to continue.

ROOM CHANGES update

TYRE CHANGE MANDATORY + FUEL with PITSTOP

Francois and I agree it would be easier to have a tyre change and sit in pit longer.

The reason is you will not need to toggle tires "No Change " so less buttons to worry about.

So just open Pit Display and hit Pit request before La Source and you should be fine.

I can't quite recall if it was in this server or another one, but I was racing in an F3 rookies server and met someone from Sydney that lives not far from where I used to. Must have been around a week or two ago now. Was that you Durge?

 

I love this server. Just had Durge behind watching whilst 4 of us 'noobs' successfully made it through Eau Rouge!

The fuel load has really improved things you can easy notice little slides easy controlled now.

I was really impressed tonight although we ran only a few practice races for mine everyone looked sharper.


BTW Stephen Dent has set a "new 4x fuel " room PB and personal best 4:17.084 I think.

WD Stephen as we speak he is trying for Fran's record. lol

Update:

Francois went 4:16.902 in race tonight.

WD everyone the 4x fuel and stop worked better then I imagined.

Finally got my 4:17 too.

 

Thanks Durge- nice changes- especially the yellow line part- i noticed alot of guys entering eau rouge from the pits during race- ive been on your server a couple of times- plan to be around on the weekend

 

Yeah be on most of all weekend for sure.

30 minutes practice down from 60 minutes
8 Lap race up from 5 laps
5x Fuel Usage up from 4
Fuel: 160 Litres
1 Stop for Tires and 80 Litres

Room Record: Francois Solbrig 4:16.652 (no tow)

I think its fixed set-ups....we all use the same anyhow....you can save the fixed set-up btw

PRACTICE: 30 MINS
QUALIYING: 20MINS - 4 LAPS
8 LAP RACE
1 STOP for Tires + 80 Litres

 

Shame the best times in practice didn't dirt the cars by time for the race.

That way we wouldn't need qualifying
