I have just download build 69 and a have tried a few different mods but I can't open any track, it gets too the loading screen then just doesn't move. Can anyone help?
can you go over instructions again carefully, it seems u dont have tracks installed properly u must right click on mods to do that from manage mods tab in opening screen (if i remember well). Mind u, first time track takes a lot of time to load. Help from more experienced guys pleese?
Thanks nikos, I uninstalled the mod and re installed and it didn't load again, here is a screen shot of the error after I have closed it using ctrl alt delete
So you can't load any tracks or just some tracks? What mods do you have installed? What mod are you trying to use? Did it work before build 69?
Yeah like gee give some detail people are not mind readers. You don't say what track what packages what mod or anything else. ! Did you try a fresh install a fresh download. ? I don't even understand why people are stuffing with mods at all this is a beta test. Should never have let them on the server. All the people run mods and add on tracks do nothing for beta test. To think what rF2 will be when released a heap of mismatched mods and half arsed conversions and a newbie won't have a clue. Dilute the server bb, I am one will NOT be getting a life membership unless they divide all this rabble on to a seperate server.
well...guy gave u a screen, nothing to tell about it? just wondering, nikos (ignorant here, dont mind me)
Can you make sure first that with your 069 install the you also installed all the car mods and all current official tracks like open you mod manager and look too see if they all say installed first then come back and post again
You need to install the Formula Renault 3.5 Mod, 1960s World Class Racing and GT World Endurance Championship.
Please do the following, I suspect your installs have gone corrupt somewhere. Open your windows explorer Go to the data folder Go into the Installed folder Go into the vehicles folder Delete everything in there Go 1 folder up, and go into the Locations folder Delete everything in there. Go 1 folder up, and go into the rFm folder Delete everything Go 2 folders up, and go into the manifest folder Delete everything Now open the ModManager Make sure it points to the right packages folder (i.e. where you have the .rfmod files) All mods should be displayed now as NOT installed. Install 1 mod Try it in rfactor2. If it works, install the rest. I believe thats how I solved it. Must admit that it is quite a while ago I had this issue, but I had the same thing.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have just had a frustrating 36 hours of wondering why won't something appear in the mod manager and you've just solved it. Thank you Marco.
