You are completely heartless, I was just getting over the highly inventive spiel that quickly moved into the true reality of this horror.
I am resigned to the long haul these days, RF2 will be well worth the wait (I confidently think) but the complete absence of people in the know is either calculated ignorance or shear arrogance.

Maybe AC or GTR3 will be finished before 2013. Who knows.

Yes it's annoying to wait for an update but it's still a great Sim to play with now, alpha my Arse!

Maybe I should be more precise. It is useless for serious league racing. From this point of view - it is as I said: unplayable.

Well, you definitely shouldn't expect a beta to be 'playable' for league racing.

yeah, it's true as well as my statement.

But of course any one is free to enjoy playing current state of rF2.

    Differences in Alpha + Beta

The differences between any alpha and beta is that alpha comes before beta. Alpha is when the game is pretty much roughed out and still has lots of bugs and mechanical issues. Beta is when there are only the little bugs left to fix and is almost ready to be released, also Alpha is also used in house testing.

So this maybe your arse !

ISI have the freedom to define their development status, there is no exactly definition :)

They are free to define status, but they shouldn't use terms in wrong way. Terms which are quite strictly known and defined. At the end they are software development company. So they should know exactly what 'beta' means.
To me it is just marketing bs.

maybe language barrier, but beta stage is quite precisely defined. Check wiki or other sources.

Point is that ISI should call it in correct way. If you would like to buy a fridge, it does matter to you if product is called fridge or freezer.

i would not say that. this thread shows one thing, and that is were all racers and Like ISI we want to play the best sim. the way it is now is ok but most of us are waiting for updates to make it even better. i have not commented on this topic till now, the thing about ISI, is the update will be ready when it is ready, ISI in there wisdom keep us out of the loop till the next update is released, why because there is no point if something is not added that they said they were working on. but us racers (beta testers) have to realize is that ISI is working on updates, we just have to wait till there ready.
