    Your question has been answered many times already. The 6 months mentioned wasn't a declaration of a strict date, only an estimate of how long it would take at that point. They will take however long it takes to get the product ready for release, and at the moment it looks like it's going to take longer than they expected.

    And those of you wondering if you'll start using up your 12 months before the beta is over, this is a quote from the sticky:

    i had rfactor2 for months and unaware that i have online access until yes-today when i typed my email and password on the multi-player section:( , i tough the "life time online membership" is for multi-player only:)

    It is for multiplayer only, you can play single player as much as you want without having to renew your subscription. You will lose the auto-updater functionality, but you can just get them the old fashioned way. Mods will also work just as well.

    Personally I find the offline AI more compelling than racing some muppits online, hence rF2 will be a brilliant long term investment. :)

    Don't get me wrong, I've meet some well mannered drivers online, but they are few and far between.
