Not sign it again, but register it with the new version. Once you made the update, you will get a new Submit ID code. Open you launcher, en go to the Reauest MODID tab. ONLY fill in the bottom part of the field, with: MOD ID -> The original mod ID number VERSION -> The NEW version number of your mod after the update SUBMIT ID -> The NEW submit ID from the update file. If it's registerd, it will work online.

You mean if you need to add the previous content to the update as well? No, then it would be a remake, and not an update Just include the new items in the update, as that will keep file size to a minimum. Thats why it's an update
