Only a remark, if VLM is reading here:
the contrast of lights.. in Portugal the sun is more bright on the textures.
The sensation is more "live".

Here i don't have the same sensation of the light

Thanks for sharing this so soon, wasn't expecting it during beta period.
Agree with the others about the birds, chopper and cameras - would have to be crazy to take them out.
Also the groove works fine here, don't know why that guy said theres no groove.

 

I never said it was. It is related to the MODID system in place for RF2.

It's a bit more than that. I have an entire community to look after. I'll speak to a couple of people to get something put together, but the necessity to implement this every time is not encouraging.

 

I've been converting the rFactor ZR cars to rF2 to learn the new system. It took me all of about 2 minutes to add this track into the mod as a virtual component. I know they arent real cars but they are fairly decent to drive with the megane tire files and It's nice to have 26 different paintjobs on the track

Edit: My point is it's EASY to make a virtual mod to run with your mates.

but Mid Ohio track is just exceptionell - most, because it´s showing that FPS problems not must exist with rf2 (even for AMD video card users) ! Just great work.

With custon tracks 1.7 you no need the others, is all in one, off and online.

Animation

Perhaps it would be nice to have a way to select to have animation or not? Give people a choice.

Mid Ohio is one of my favorites, glad to see it up and running...

 

Need 1.4 custon and then update to 1.7, to join the server.
the good would not need updates just deleting one and installing another one
