For the mirrors have you tried the "no lighting tex1" material.

Hey thanks sugarfoot, that fixed my mirrors nice, as far as the lighting is concerned.
I think I also have the mapping not quite right, despite following the tutorial, it looks as though my mirrors can see too much, i'll have to have another look at that.

I noticed the new category 'Mods-in-progress and Release Ready'
do you think this thread should/could be moved there? (to the vehicles section)
Seems like that might be a better place for it.

Hi I was going to ask how is progress on your shark, I'm at the very early stage building up High Poly not much to finish it and then Retopo to Low Poly. Will definitely knock your doors for some tips if it comes to putting it into engine. Hope you didn't give up on yours completely.

i ran out of everything, patience, time. I need to earn a living.
rFactor2 needs clearer documentation, otherwise developement is slow. especially for newcomers.
I'll drop by from time to time see if i can help.

Thats odd there are posts missing from this thread.
Nice pic of some real ones nikos, when I started I couldn't find enough pics of one although it has always been on my mind to make one. It does seem to have a shorter nose than the yellow remake.

I think you are mistaken because of the perspective.
The yellow remake was an expert job, difficult for them to make such a big mistake.

I installed rFactor 2 and wasn't surprised to find that the showroom was all bleached out with what looks like over aggressive hdri. Reflection on the floor seems all messed up too. I would re-export everything but I have not plugs for 2016 3ds max.

I think theres a workaround for exposure bug in showroom, pressing Enter two times or something like that, it will turn back to normal..

nah it's still really bright. I suspect it has something to do with my old files, need to re-export all and by the looks of things create some new files.
