Closing up behind an AI car ahead of you (Spa 1967 track, Megane) the car ahead stutters; so I start braking expecting to close slowly, but suddenly it jumps forward crashing me into the rear.

CPU (Core i7-2700K) hardly being used, AMD 6800 running at about 60-70% - everything turned to Max - all drivers fully up to date. No overclocking.

Running update (Build 60 from RF2-v1.029)

More info: If I allow my car to be driven by AI and let it catch up to another AI opponent, the overtaking is smooth with no stutter. I then let it get me within striking distance of another and take over trailing about 50m back; as soon as I close, it stutters again.

If I'm blasting down a straight, full throttle under AI control and close on an AI opponent and then take over, despite both me and car ahead being pinned full throttle, as soon as mt AI kicks out, the opponent starts pulling away whereas 10s earlier we were catching him. Revs don't drop, so it's not a calibration problem with my pedals.
