Possibility to save different control settings for each car

Because i want to drive some cars with different controls it would be nice to save controlls for each car.

In the F3.5 i shift with the paddles on my G25 and without clutch... in the 60´s F1 cars i use the sequencial stick and the clutch. In a road legal car i would drive with h-shifter and clutch.

 

I was going to suggest this too, I'd love to see this in the game. +1

 

Of coarse you can!

Set up your controller how you want, click save, name it what you want, click accept.
Do that for however many different setups you want.

Then click load, cycle through to the one you want to use and click accept. Simple.

I even delete the presets I don't use so I don't have to scroll through the whole list.

 

I think you mean the car setup?! i cant see where i can save the setup for my wheele and where i want to shift...

 

You can save controller presets but not to an individual car. What he means is to log on with say the 1960s f1 and have it set up with the h5 automatically.

No, I'm not talking about car setups, I'm answering your question about controller setups.
Click settings, then controller.
Underneath the button mapping area there are three buttons, Save, Load and Detect.
And no, the game won't select a different controller setup for each car, you have to.
It's only a couple of mouse clicks.

 

thx for the hint but i still think it would be a lot better when its possible to link the controller setup with a car
