Hello, I have made this Program to create your own .wet files for your track`s. rFactor2 .wet Builder v1.0 | by Julian G. (Senna94) Download Mirrors: http://tinyurl.com/79sjwtg https://rapidshare.com/files/1970063432/rF2.Weather_Builder.rar Installation: Extract the program where you want it. Usage: You can adjust your own weather like you want to: Training, Qualifying and Race Note: - Net Framework 4 required - German and English Translations - StartingTime and Duration not available at this moment. I must to inform me only if the settings have effects at all. A request for Tim is already sent - In the future is planned, your weather to be generated and to open existing .wet Files Changes: In case of problems, Bugs or would like to see other things you can write me. Regards Julian
Many thanks I was trying to work out the weather on my server Kudos for your work can you please explain to the noobie what I do with the .wet file it makes
Thanks a lot, great work *Path should be set too: rfactor2/UserData/player/Settings/(Track of Choice) e.g Mills Park Outerloop.
If links are down please remove them from the first post or delete the post itself. It is useless as it is!
Thanks for the link. I have downloaded and tried. I see it generates a .wet file. I guess I need to put that file in the pathrfactor2/UserData/player/Settings/(Track of Choice) as fergy suggests. When I do so for Pocoyo Park, for example, I find there is another .wet file there with the name of the track + and "s" at the end. Should I overwrite or give it ano specific name. How do I select from rf2 later the weather I just defined with this tool? Thanks. One thing regarding the tool. It is quite frustrating that it always starts up with an empty form. It would be nice that: 1) .wet files could be opened from the tool. 2) the tool started with the last values when closing the program. I have seen that in the wet file it also appears the staring time, duration, ... I would be nice to include those parameters. In any case. It makes no sense for me that ISI does not include this option within the program. They should also think in providing a NICE SUMMARY SCREEN of each session weather so that users could include it in their webpages when announcing an event. Otherwise the users will finally make a script as we have done in our webpage. Please find attached a screenshot of what I mean: View attachment 5315
imo, just overwrite the file. You can always make a default file in offline mode if needed. Thats the correct path. I think senna94 given up on this project, shame really as it's quite useful. I sent him a pm but no response.
