    Jamie... Head to event viewer, application log, run down a few entries and you should see some relating to the motec x64 dll (just to help confirm it's same issue as I'm having)

    Have managed to replicate on a second machine (may be UAC/permissions/folder related, making my own machine completely unsuitable) and will look into it. Thanks :)

    Hi,

    everything works fine (logging sounds etc.), until I open my logged data with Motec i2. What you can see in the attachment is supposed to be Spa Francorchamps :D Also, the logged laptimes are wrong.

    I tried to open the logged data with the rF2 Template, from the first page on this thread and with an old rF1 template which I still had. I already tried to switch things on and off in the .ini file.

    What is the problem here?

    G'Day Lazza. I have been getting random and somewhat frequent CTD whilst racing on b770 64bit. someone suggested removing this plugin which I have. Since then I have had not one crash however I need more hours in the car to see if I do..

    Very little testing done on the 64bit so wouldn't surprise me. Got a couple more build options to change, and checking all the code so 64 and 32 are consistent (not so much a breakage at the moment, but consistency is good), plus tweaking folders so UAC will be handled properly (under 32 and 64 bit), and after that will try to spend more time testing reliability. Just working around actual work.

    First question would be what version of i2pro are you running - old ones don't work right. Get the latest one. Then see above regarding 64 bit, but I wouldn't expect errors like that on 32.

    I downloaded the latest version (i2 Pro V1.0.21.0030) and tried it again. Some of the laptimes are now right, some aren't. I don't use the new 64bit exe.

    @Carsten

    Goto Tools Tab/Track Editor...
    Once there, click "Generate Track.." opt. Method GPS (or lat G in case GPS doesnt works)
    Then select "Generate Sections..."

    Thanks for the useful plugin, Lazza.

    Could we have "Long Force (FL / FR / RL / RR)" channels in your plugin?

    The description "double mLongitudinalForce; // Newtons" can be found in ISI's documment.
    * rFactor2 internals plugin v6 http://downloads.imagespaceinc.com/rf2/plugin/InternalsPlugin6.zip

    Currently we can calculate coefficients of friction for lateral using "Lat Force" and "Tyre Load". But we can't do coefficients of friction for Longitudinal because of lacking "Long Force".

    If we can get value of "Long Force", that would be great:)

    Yes, it seems fine, you just need to re-copy the files to the correct folders (Bin32/Plugins or Bin64/Plugins)

    Could be me or is the .ini-file missing from the latest download? Shouldn't it be in?

    EDIT: Nevermind, the answer is in the readme.

    Hi,
    Trying to get things working in 64 bit.
    Should I be installing in Program FilesX86/Rfactor2/
    or do I then need to to put both versions in their respective plugin folders (64 and 32) and do I also need a copy in the main plugin folder?
    I have tried to replicate what exists with trackIR which is 64 and 32 bit versions in the plugins folder then their respective versions in their unique folders.
    Thanks

    I need to ask you a couple of questions if I may?
    Sorry if it seems basic but I wrestled with it for an hour last night.

    I've copied the pluginDoes this mean you left the original somewhere else as well or did you actually move it rather than copy it?
    Did you have a previous install of the plugin?
    If so did you simply move its location or did you copy and paste to the Bin64/plugins folder.
    Did you delete the previous install?

    BTW what is UAC and how do I know if I have it?

    Thanks

    Lazza can I ask if the install instructions are still up to date since the new build? They seem to make no mention of how and when to put what in the Bin64 plugins folder. Sorry if it seems obvious to many.

    As per the release date(s), no, the various instructions don't apply to 798. I don't even have it yet (PC issues) so am not in a position to instruct. Plus it needs to be a bit smarter, so once I get back up and running, and some time, that will be the aim.
