hi. ive installed rfactor 2 but im having trouble downloading the extra cars and tracks both torrent and http links. do i need a program that recognizes these rfmod files?
I use "micro torrent" to get the torrent files in and then you place the mods in the "documents/RF2/packages" folder and in the start screen (the little one) you go to "manage files" and add them. Can't remember what the exact names are, not on my own pc right now, but you have to look a bit. There was something in that screen with right click and then install. Good luck!
ok,ive just downloaded the torrent using utorrent..now how do i transfer the file from utorrent to my rfactor 2 packages folder?
Ehhh, have to do it from my head and that is not my strongest site But the torrent should be unpacked and from that folder, just copy the RFD (?) file into the packages folder.
i think 7zip tries to open the file...ahhhh its doin my head in now...where should the file be unpacked to...do i need a program to open rfmod files?
.rfmod files go into the Packages folder. No 7zip no unpacking. Start rfactor, click 'manage mods' The mods should be listed. Right click them and install. edit: glenner, please don't start two threads asking basically the same thing. Thanks.
yeh sorry about that... ive managed to install all cars into my packages folder but in the mod manager the 1960s isnt there..the renault migane and 3.5 have installed fine.
