There is one small update for Croft that would e appreciated in addition to the transparency issue. The grey concrete curbs that are NOT painted have the FFB and sound of grass instead of a hard surface. But this track (and feels3 others) still look better than almost anything else out there for rF2.
Hi oppolo, the guys' posts above are talking about this long standing problem, & the track maker (feels3) said recently that he'd fix it (alpha layer?), so we're in his hands & have to be patient By the way - beautiful dog! ..I've got a dog too & they're fantastic - never sulk, never moody
thanks feels3 for revisiting (hopefully all 3 of your tracks) to bug fix. They are absolutely worth keeping up to date, fabulous tracks and workmanship.
I just played Assetto Corsa at Croft, not sure where the version came from, maybe Toca Race Driver?...felt way too smooth and clinical, the Croft for rFactor is so much more real, nice undulations and potholes!...I look forward to the fixes as its so much fun to drive!!!...classic!
I doubt a professional such as Feels3 would create anything apart from a scratch made track; He now works for Sector3. Assetto has laserscanned data; who know what Feels used to create his track - Google Maps, photos and videos..I'm sure he'll tell if asked.
I have a friend who did some private work on it and improved the issues. Now it's truly brilliant track, but would need feels3 permission I guess to release. Fixes the trees and what's visible in the car mirrors and a few other little bits and pieces
