are the graphics going to get better ?

got the beta lifetime membership and like the physics but was expecting a lot more from the graphics. i like my eye candy

 

There are graphic options that aren't enabled currently. Since I know nothing that isn't posted on these, and similar, boards I don't know what they have planned for optimization but I do know they have some components they can turn on and others that need further refinement. That will help the quality.

Having said that, I believe they are great as they are currently. They could be better but this is a good starting point. Try driving at times other than right around mid day. Try early morning or late evening, and turn on all the eye candy. Quite a different, and nice, look than you get at mid day.

I think the game is impressive but looking at the potential of the rendering engine as I mod I've got to say there's a whole lot yet to come. There are some truly impressive things that can be achieved.

 

Oil just what I wanted to hear do we know how long it will take ?

 

They are saying that they expect it to be another 6 months before the initial release of the game. One would think they would have all the major stuff switched on and reasonably optimized by then. Keep in mind, dates change as bugs crop up.

Like what? can it achieve graphics like pCars?

 

It cannot with current set of shaders.

 

But can the shaders be modded?
