I have it all downloaded and running , but can't get my TSW2 wheel to work.
Its older ,but it was converted to USB and works fine with iracing.
When I click on detect I get in small orange letters TSW Evolution Analog, but If i click on it nothing happens.
    Can someone please help?

    just assign actions.
mouse click - throttle/press pedal... etc, once all is assigned, click save and name your profile.:)

Yes i click the throttle and then push the pedal, but nothing happens. The only thing that does work that way is the shifter. I don't think mine uses the rockfire adapter, it was rewired at TSW.

I think I get a slight reaction on the brake on Joy1 y- which is 1, 3 in the settings. So what would the settings be for Joy1 y+ ?
All I know is the movements even for the brake are tiny, it hardly moves.

maybe the detect option assigned some problems somehow, try deleting that TSW Evolution Analog profile from the controllers folder and start over with the default assignments, without using the detect option.

    see this also...
    C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\rFactor2\UserData\player\Controller.ini
    [ General Controls ]
Realtime Controller Detection="1" // whether to check for new controllers while in realtime (0 to disable if it causes any problems)

Tried changing reatime detection, with no results, or changes. Cannot even find a TSW Evolution Analog profile. I see it when I use detect, but can find no evidence of it in controllers.
So far no control input at all from the throttle or wheel, just a tiny bit in Brake and the shifter controls.

i'm just thinking out loud here, hoping to stumble on a resolve for your troubles.

when i click detect i get ("no matching controller file found - 4 button 4 axis controller")
that is what is provided in windows game controllers, for my wheel, so probably that's where your TSW Evolution Analog detection comes from?

if you have clicked the SET MIN - SET MAX buttons associated with those pedal input graphs without having the pedal in each position when pressing those range buttons it will set the range of motion to zero, and when you test the pedal it will appear as if there is no input.

Yes it is saying that same exact response when I click on detect, except mine says TSW Evolution Analog.
But when I click on Throttle, it doesn't evn pick up my pushing the throttle at all.
Do I have to go in my player settings and do all the changes there to use my Controller?
How do I go about resetting my controller inputs in Rfactor?
The other thing is and this may have sme effectis I have my TSW pedals setup upside down, so the base is up in the air and my feet are on the floor.
What amazes me the most is how tiny the reactions are onscreen compared to how much I move the controls, which is why I am asking how to reset everything and go about setting them up correctly.
Do I have to delete my player controller settings?
So when I have my throttle at max setting I should have it pressed all the way down correct, then just let up all the way and press min?
I wish i could have a preset for my wheel and then everything sure would be a lot easier.
Should I contact TSW to figure this out?

You could start over if you think that's the problem. To do so, just delete the controller.ini file in UserData/Player. But before doing that ...

Correct. I would try this first. If you're at least seeing a small movement, it probably just has the wrong range for some reason.

Yeah, sorry we don't have presets for all wheels ... and unfortunately we don't have that wheel or one re-wired for USB.

Its definately a problem, main problem is haven't seen any movement of the throttle at all.I just have to figure out whichaxis is connected to what. I may have to go into the controller ini and manuallly set up each axis, problem is I don't know the combinations I think controller1 axis -y is the brake, so I would assume controller1 axis +y is the throttle, but Controller1 axis-y has numbers after it (1,3) If I'm not mistaken, but I'm not sure what these mean.
Does anyone here use a TSW? They should all be pretty similar.

I have an older tsw2 modified, with do it yourself usb. No problems though, I just went to controler settings menu in the game, just like rfactor 1 and clicked on the throttle....(for example) and pushed it, same for the rest, all I had to do was assign them. Except I did have to turn down the stearing sensitivity. Works fine. I didnt use any supplied controller profile, i just did it off the stock keyboard menu. Throttle is JOY2 Y-, Brake is JOY2 Z+ Steer Left Joy2 X-, Right JOY2 X+, Clutch JOY2 RX+. I would think the only difference for you would be the Throttle and clutch would be reversed. It is JOY2 because my H gate shifter is JOY1........ incase you wondered.

I'm beginning to wonder If it because i have win7 64 bit. I did get it working but just barely, the sensitivity is terrible. the only way i got it to work was by going into the player controller ini file. But it was pretty much a guessing game.
As far as the graphs go mine is a tiny line that gos up and down. I know its not right. Its the same for the steering, throttle and brakes.
I had rfactor1 aswell and the calibration was much easier. Here's my player controller ini file:

I really think it happened when you used the Detect button. On mine all movement looks normal, and feel's normal in the sim. It is an analog controller so there is not as much need to set things up as a ffb wheel. Start from scratch and just assign the controlls like it was a keyboard. Wheel sensitivity was the only thing that I needed to change. Good luck.

Thats the thing , when I first started it up I didn't use the detect, and just clicked on throttle, and pushed on the throttle, but nothing happened at all. When I clicked on Brake and hit brake, nothing happened.
Even now when I click on anything but the shifter, I get no reaction at all.
As a last resort after trying the presets, I tried the detect button.
For some reason its just not picking up Throttle,Brake or steering inputs right. Its not that its not picking them up at all, but there movements seem very small.
I think I'll save my controller ini somewhere (since it does work barely) and try Jgraf's, since his is similar, then if that doesn't work, go back and try it from scratch.
That and that head movement thing still drives me crazy. If I was a bobble head that movement might be about right, although our bodies and minds may compensate somewhat, it still seems exaggerated even with it set at zero.
But controls needs to be my main effort right now.
BTW when you are in the controls section with the nice blue and red graph, are they that nice looking after you put your own controllers in, because mine looks terrible, just a line going up the left side on the Brake and Throttle, and about a 1/16 vline for the steering.

I think you mean the ingame controller graph Like Jgraf's above? Mine looks the same. I get a full graph on all Axis's just like his throttle shows.

Did you try calibrating it in Win7? Make sure your movements are ok there also.
