Yep, that's a known problem (if you want to call it that) as currently there is no way of discerning wether a lap time got registered in on- or offline mode.

I agree we'll have to clean up the DB at some point and start fresh, all those weird changing Historics class names are leftovers from the time when those class names changed quite frequently.

I've finally gotten around to migrating the db backend from mysql to mariadb. Please let me know if I broke anything in the process (that wasn't already broken before, that is )

It appears that online laptimes are not being added to the rank.

For example I have a 1.20.2 added for Howston G4 at Palm Beach, but in tonights R2P race I did a 1.18.9.

Therefore for some reason it appears that only offline laps are being picked up?

 

Hi Nick,

you've probably hit another bug or are you running multiple installs? Technically it's not possible to discern among online and offline laps. Have you checked your career.blt to see if the lap in question is actually contained in the file?

Only one install

I rebuilt the career.blt with the Python file, but it had not picked up the quicker lap. I have two entries as per below

Hello, it seems that the new Silverstone version (v114) to be called SILVERSTONE_GTLAYOUT not SILVERSTONE_GPLAYOUT (version v101).

Hi Uwe, I just wanted to mention that any laps I upload with the EVE F1/F2 don't get recorded in my lap times.

Any idea why?

I don't get any "unknown car" message when uploading my career.blt file.
That's strange, and if I look at my lap times for anything EVE F1, I don't see any.

(Then again, I'm never sure what is the correct car name for those 60s F1s)

I'm now comparing my lap times and "Ring_Tourist"... Due to the number of updates on the truck, I'm pretty sure lap times have been affected by the updates during time. I would suggest to include, if possible, the version of the truck and car somewhere in the lap time. Don't know if this is feasible, but it will solve some possible incorrect lap time comparison.
