Spotter needs to harden up :) He is very low on the volume front, I had the engine noise down to 60% and was still too soft, other sounds also but still a soft spotter..

Something to look at for the next patch maybe..

I don't even have a spotter, I've not had a squeak out of him or her I wouldn't know.

I re-installed sound drivers and it made no difference.

    Realtek onboard sound card

I believe ISI are aware that the spotter's volume is way way way too low. I must admit I didn't know I had one until I hit neutral and coasted over the line checking something else.

Agreed, the spotter's volume is way low, I've tried lowering the volume of everything else by quite a bit and still can't make our what the spotter is saying as far as lap times when crossing the start/finish line. The one thing I noticed is the Spotter's voice is very low in pitch (too much bass) and easily blends in with the racing sounds. Maybe by adding some treble to his voice file he might be heard easier. Hopefully in the finished product, a choice of spotter voices will be available.
I use a SB X-Fi Extreme Gamer pci for sound.
    Take care

I kept my spotter volume at 100% and all other volumes at 15%, I can now hear the spotter clearly, but now everything is soft :(

Yes. Same problem. Maximum 30-40% of engine/effects volume are necassary to hear some words from the spotter.

Can someone who can hear the spotter post a screen shot of their settings? I've adjusted down and still can't hear him. Thanks

I can hear the spotter (low volume) but it´s a joke ... a stuttering computer synthesized thin voice reading out only laptimes.
    I switched this xxxxxxx off.

Must be redesigned with a human voice and triggered messages.

I liked the voice recognition of the rF1 spotter plugin. Hopefully ISI will do the implementation in the final version like that.
