    Hey!

Is there any way to reduce the steering rate / speed of the Xbox 360 Controller?

Because it's very hard to steer if the wheel turns so fast if you push the stick to a side....

I don't have a wheel atm so i have to use that controller...

    Hope somebody can help!

    thx

Try turning the sensitivity for each input to 0.

    Didn't work... still very fast....

If i change left and right to keyboard and set the steering rate to 10 then the steering is much slower but it doesn't work with the analog stick.

I think the problem is the time it should take to steer.

Now it needs 10ms or something like that to steer to 100% and it should take like 500ms or something like that...

Sorry can't explain the problem better in english but i can make a video if you want.

    thx

I agree, the steering seems to be VERY sensitive is the only way I can describe.

Indeed. :( I need to use minimum steering lock for every cars. Btw, FFB/Rumble doesn't work with my Xbox360 controller. Will it get supported someday?

    Bump.

Any offical word would be excellent? Currently only have access to the 360 pad, sadly the game is almost unplayable with it.

Ah, ok I think I know what you're saying now. I don't currently have a fix for you....BUT

In the NEXT UPDATE we'll add the parameter "Use Digital Rates For Analog" in the controller.ini file. Setting that to "1" will apply the "Steering Rate" delayed momentum like we have with keyboard driving to your analog controller. (might even make it into the UI...no promises for next update though.)

As for rumble effects...spent a little time investigating, but the solution wasn't immediately obvious. It's not the top of our priority list at the moment. But it is on the list.

    I use a 360 controller.

    Steering sensitivity 0%
Speed sensitivity 60% - although I'm not set on this yet.
Steering angle 180 (unchecked car specific)
Dead zone is 20% for mine but might be different to yours.
Break and Throttle I both have at 100%

Along with this trick its easy enough to drive for me. The problem I'm having is over-rotation of the wheel causing me to understeer and overheat my front tires constantly.
