Well, now I at least can play (before I just had 15-20 FPS). Just changing the sounds samples from 32 to 16 did the trick.

    Regards

Glad you got it working Ramtam, somehow I don't think altering number of samples will suddenly make SLI work though unfortunately.

Quick update. Both my 580s do get fully used, so SLI is working for me, but just with bad framerates.

That's interesting Alex, which Nvidia driver are you using? I'm on 285.62 but have tried the 290 beta drivers too, I get 0% usage from gpu2...

I have an i7 at 4GHz and an HD5850. I am running rFactor2 at 5760x1080. I have all settings on medium with most of the advanced settings off. I am seeing 90fps in the pits at Spa and averaging around 60 on the track. Image quality is pretty poor honestly at that detail level but that's the highest detail I can run and still have usable frame rates.

285.something, the latest non beta ones. 0% sounds like a bad reading, or an issue!

This is exactly what I´m seeing !

Iracing at Spa 110 fps maxed except shadows
RF2 Monaco 20 fps maxed except hdr and reflections

    X6 3,2 GHz
    6970 2GB
    5760x1080

EDIT: the 20 fps is because of using SS to get AA working. Don´t have to use this with iRacing. The AA works well there.
But without SS still gettin only 40 fps

Here, 580 SLI did not work at first, but i added rfactor2.exe and add "Force alternate rendering 2" and then it works. And 35fps (5040x1050). Meh.

    I got the same problem.

    i5 2500 3,3GHz
    GTX 570 SLI
    5760x1080

    ~15 FPS:mad:

Well, back to iRacing until this SLI problem is corrected.

I have 65-80 fps on Sepang with Megane, but I'm having little stuttering issues.
Also in TV mode my screen isn't appearing correctly.
I'm running 6120x1080 and on my middle screen some HUD info dissapears into the bezel. If I run 5760x1080 without bezel compensation, all the HUD info is displayed correctly but then my car looks wider. But that's normal because there isn't any bezel compensation.

    Some screenshots of my problems:

Quick update, managed to get SLI kind of working via forcing alternate frames 2 in the Nvidia control panel, usage is at around 55% for both gpus but frame rates are still shockingly bad on a single monitor or triples averaging around 30fps on Monaco at high settings in comparison to 140fps with SLI disabled.

Would really love to have a comment from Tim/ISI to at least acknowledge these problems and reassure us they are working on it ...

I'm having lots of issues with 3 monitor.

    Here's my config:

    Intel Core i7 960 @ 3.07 GHz
12 Go 1666 MHz XMP Corsair Ram
    2x MSI HAWK 460 GTX 1Go RAM

If I use NVidia surround (5910x1200) I get arround 5 FPS
If I use NVidia surround (1920x1200) I get arround 5 FPS

If I disable NVIDIA surround and only use SLI I get arround 40 FPS

    I'm using 290.53 BETA Forceware...

    <=== My Specs here.
I use HDR. no inGame AA.
my ATI HD 6950 CCC settings

    My In Game settings

    I have a vertical fov of 45.
With those settings, in SOLO, i get 60 - 90 fps, in SINGLE monitor 1920x1080.

But in tripple screen 5760x1080,It divide by 2 so 30-45fps. in SOLO, no AI.

In iRacing at spa I get 60 - 90fps with full grid and 20 cars viewable.

I am running dual HD6970's in CF here and last night I installed the 12.1c AMD/ATi Beta driver which now has the option of creating your own CF profiles for games that do not have one. I set one up using AFR (Alternate Frame Rendering) and the game now utilises both GPUs giving me a very solid frame rate. It is not a high frame rate at around 35-55 avg but it is SOLID and turning off the Replays has gotten rid of my annoying stutters in all car and track combos. It will obviously be ALOT better when AMD releases an official CF profile for rF2 but I suspect that might be some time away yet, people are still awaiting a CF profile for iRacing after 3.5 years

CPU Usage is @ 10-20% and GPU Usage is @ around 60%

    My Gaming Rig Specs

    Whole rig is high end water cooled with Koolance parts - Asus Rampage 3 Formula (WC), i7 950 @ 4.0GHz (WC), 6GB DDR3 @ 1915MHz (WC), 2 x HD6970 @1040/1450MHz (WC), OCZ Revo PCI-E SSD 120GB (Windows), OCZ Vertex2 SSD (Steam), Kingston 64GB SSD (rFactor 2), 3 x 26" LCD @ 1920x1200 (5986x1200 Eyefinity res)

Game settings are all on full and maxed out except for Shadows (High) and no HDR.

Tha same issue with 6870's CF, one card dont work, you can check in your CPU with Afterbunner, one with 100% and other card 0%.

After much tweaking i have managed to get RF2 working at acceptable quality and FPS. This is with one HD6850 however. On spain without Ai i reach an average of ca. 55 FPS. When i activate Crossfire for the second 6850, these frame cripple to halve (between 20 and 25 FPS) and also there is a uge stutter.

Monitoring the GPU workload in afterburner i see an increase of workload per videocard when using crossfire with same settings. Nevertheless the framerate drops with this additional workload.

    Specs:
    Intel processor i5 @ 2400
    Mainboard Gigabyte P55UD3
    8Gb memory @ 1500
    2x Sapphire HD6850 @ stock
    1 TB harddrive
    3x iiyama 24" monitors for 5900 x 1080 eyefinity. (1x displayport active adapter, 2x DVI SL) @ FOV 21
Replay has been switched off, also all special effects and the advance tweak has been applied.

Guido that's strange, I have a quad AMD 2.3Ghz, 8GB ram, and 2 x HD5750 in Crossfire and Eyefinity (3 x 22" monitors), so it's not so different form yours. Yet mine is the opposite way round - I get better fps with Crossfire enabled. Are you sure you have your two cards set up right? They must both be in x16 slots to get best power out of them, and not only that they must be set up correctly in your bios setup. You can easily tell by checking in the AMD Control Center, look at the information tab, and check the Maximum bus setting for both cards. They should both read PCI Express 2.0 x 16
    Cheers :)

I have dual 6850's as well. Crossfire improves my performance, but only in single screen. It reduces performance in triple screen.
