I got Sony Vegas 8 studio version. All I've ever needed for $30 from amazon. There's some decent freeware video converters though... But I don't use any so can't advise

Yeah and probably better than most of those "converters". Just make sure you set aspect ratio in settings

Great comparison AdrianF1, liking the matched camera angle. Thumbs up

Holy mother!! rFactor looks better than the real thing!

I always wonder how you guys find these real life videos and match them so close with your own driving. Great video!

The quality of the second video seems slightly better. For me that would already be good enough. I think a lot of the quality gets lost when the file is on their server. I don't know what it is they're doing with the files. That is for YouTube at least.

Great vid. My only critique would be that the track level is higher on the right due to camera angle, which can give the impression to some that the geometry is off, if they're not paying attention.

Nice video Adrian, well done. :)

Does anybody else think the drivers hand in rf2 could hold more of the wheel with more of his hand?

He seems to hold the wheel between thumb and forefinger too much imo and not enough of the wheel is in the palm of his hand as can be seen by the real driver...

When I do them, I get as close as I can, then cut one of the videos and speed up and slow down by section to reach the same point at the same time. It's the best way to allow people to visualize the geometry. I really don't like a comparison video that shows a different section because one is slower or faster, mgiht as well not even combine them.

Yeh me too but it would be good to have these things like the hands altered and gear changes etc as they`d look really good on vids and screens.

Tim... you got any input on this? Will the hands change at all and will we get animated gear changes etc?

Maybe I`ll make a wish in the wish list thread. :)

I see. My problem with these comparison videos is mainly that I can only focus on one side at a time. So wouldn't it be better if the videos are like 0,5 sec or even a full sec apart. This way you can watch one side and then immediately compare it with the other. If the videos are at the exact same location at the exact same time, the only way of comparing is by pausing the video.

Not in my opinion, no. And I don't think you'd need to pause anything when it's done like I said.

Good to hear. I`ll hold off on that wish then.

    Thanks Tim. :)

Nice driving, Tim. Is that a screenshot of Stunt Car Driver in your channel pic? I used to love this game back in the days.
