pretty awful speed.... UK ISP's associate torrents with pirating, which is spectacularly bad when I work as a Linux admin......
If your torrent client has a Protocol Encryption option then enable it, it can help with UK ISP traffic shaping.
It's just a matter of getting above the critical mass of seeders vs. peers. Seems to be Ok now. However, many seem to have completely ignored the content torrents until now, they have been very inactive the last couple of days but sky-rocketed today.
Yes, but don't 'force' it. You may want to check if you have enabled a port for your torrent client to connect to. This can significantly increase the amount of download speed you can get. There must be some port number in your settings / network or connection panel somewhere. Pick one that suits you and enable it in your router. (open the port on TCP to your local IP) But I also see some signs that ISP's discriminate P2P traffic in evenings? Awful.
I left my 100mbits connection server share mods and installer. Because its 90-100% load at the moment then i dont share ftp links but if this is calm down then I can provide mirror links also if needed
