Jani should make his on thred where he post everyday his word/sentence/feeling of the day ^^ I think that cold turn out being fun ^^
At least someone else knows how dates should be written. Common sense is day/month/year. Alas, common sense these days is rarer than hens teeth. Thought I might have my rant before another pointless thread is locked.
It's not common sense, it's just where you live. Here it is DD/MM/YY but in the US it's MM/DD/YY I believe..
lmao Adsta....although I'm not sure preaching on an American forum that American's don't know how to write something as simple as the date will get you far. You are, however, correct. Go on Tim, lock this one too, its clearly not going to go anywhere useful! In case you do read this however, my sincere congratulations on putting up with all the crap here. You deserve a medal! For every idiot that posts, please know there are many of us out here that are patiently waiting. Just as eager but we don't feel the need to spout every pointless comment that pops into our mind. That's what TWITter is for. How aptly named it is. There, that's my rant done too.
Common sense is year/month/day. Ever tried sorting documents or other lists starting with a date in day/month/year or month/day/year format?
Dunno really BTW OT: Where is this information from because I don't think we must get too excited... (like if thát's possible, dohh..) hehe
from a reliable source i believe http://hidden-science.net/english/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/crystal_ball1.jpg
Thanks, but i'm pretty sure that there is no need for that after today. I got a VERY GOOD VIBRATIONS now.
The best comment I've read about rf release was, somwhere on internet (don't remember where). Was something simmilar to this: "When ISI anounced that they are working on rf2 my wife was pregnant. Now, my son starts school soon, my hair gets less and is turning white. Please ISI, release rf before I won't be able to defeat my son" hahaha
I'll get in on this Why the rest of America feels the need for month/day/year is beyond me--it's completely bass-ackwards. While I was in the Air Force everything was done d/m/y which makes a lot more sense. It gets me in all sorts of trouble now though: "So, you were born in April?" "No Ma'am, I was born in June" "Sir, you put down 4 for the month." "No Ma'am, I wrote 6 for the month." "Huh?"
Edit - This is a reply to Adsta from earlier, I forgot to quote him here. Good thanks. You are well I hope. I still lurk at ORA but I'm working a lot of hours these days, esp into the evenings, which makes racing during the evening difficult. However, I do still drop into ORA once a week to see what's new. I just wish I had more time to race. I'll try to take a little time off once rF2 is out to update my Lotus Elise/Exige mod so if I can free an evening during that I'll drop by Oldies Thurs night fun if its still running. Hope to see you soon. ITT.
