Can we all just ignore him? Maybe he'll go away and we can get back to the more uplifting conversations.

Easy, an Australian Sports sedan is a space frame chassis with some sort of body and VERY liberal engine specs. 800-900hp is not uncommon. The closest thing to compare to is Grp5 They will kill 2:00 on the mount.

Sounds like a good night, Marc. Down a pint or two for me as well. Bed time for this weary Aussie, I'll be dreaming about roaring around Monaco, sliding with opposite lock around Casino.

I'm following this thread since it's open and I'm afraid that if ISI isn't releasing rf2 soon people will be discussing menstruation problems of their wifes in this thread... Honestly, who cares about who likes what series or not? ass on as the beta is out, you can settle this dispute on the track;)...
Tim, please... save us from menstruation discussions-;)...

This has been a point of conjecture amongst a lot of us here. That a tin top can break 2:00.
We all know the potential of formula cars from the sim but to see a genuine 2:00 from a REAL car is possible.
This does not negate my hatred of taxi racing.

Plebians unite in hating me I don't mind.
Soupcans are not a serious motor racing class, NASCARS for the 'Burbs in Australia.

Ignore me, Glorify or vilify me. I exist, I am the person who moves the world forward, not wallows in it's own reminisces of what I'd like.
That I can generate this much hatred by a few simple words, I'm flattered. The fact that my words were true scares me that there is so much ignorance.
A bunch of virtual racers giving me a hard time doesn't really do it for me but a guy with a 670hp '69 'stang in the next race makes me think.
I've read 100's of posts here in the last few days and they mainly concern what they get for their $50 and expect everything for free.
It costs about $800 to get the most basic of cars out of the shed and onto the track (F-Vee) and some of the faster cars, it can be as much as $2,000. Some guys I know budget $10-15K for a weekend.
A top team in F3 will spend $10k for the meeting and in Australia No one every knows.
And we still think that these cartoon taxis represent motorsport?

No I'm saying that V8 supercars are the 2nd lowest form of racing that a sim could assign itself to.
