Release Date - Date 2011?

A can bet, rF2 will not be released before March'12 too

Or ISI does not tell the whole truth, I don't think this or the next few days we will hear the release of rfactor 2. Have 12 days to finish the year, so relaxed that the news should arrive soon. Tim we will confirm this.

Tim said a big truth, Open Beta will released before Xmas or few days after the holidays. If you don't watch nothing next week, then think that will be published in 2012.

TBA doesn't stand for To Be Released, it's To Be Announced .

And it has been announced that it will be released shortly.

that will happen of course, then you'll get people who cant understand why a Beta takes so long....they can last for Months obviously but there will always be those assuming (again) that once the Beta comes out the full game will follow shortly.....then they'll get upset when it doesnt come when they want it to - within a month or whatever...its the way of the un-released game world we live in

 

I don't get this "we don't want to release beta because we don't want our staff/testers to work during christmas".

They could release it with straight information: "Hey, we are releasing the beta, but we won't handle bugs reports and so on during christmas, have fun!"

I would still be happy testing buggy beta, and I would have no problems that there is no support during chrismas.

 

People must understand, that there is money involved with this beta(which is possibly main reason for delay). So what if something going wrong?

 

Well, that's a valid point. But still, I think payments are handled by an outside company, it won't be a payment system that will be released, just the game.

But OK, I'll wait. It just annoys me, that a respected developer that have their game in closed beta stage cannot determine when open beta or final release will happen. That's just weird.

well thats just plain stupid then? They make a web site all about r factor 2 and tell you all about what its going to be and then say to be announced 2011? Thats just stupid. They have already announced it lol. Would make more Sense if they said release date tba 2011 crazy

Yeah, me too, but how many people would actually read that information? I bet there would still be plenty of people who would run into problems with beta and complain about no support.

 

Release date is to be announced, not the game itself....
