About Release date

Hellow.

I hoppe RFactor 2 go to shops when it´s completele finish.

I hate when i see a game in shops like a beta, not a really complete game. Also appearing updates just a few days from launch date.

So i hoppe RFactor 2 sell when it´s definetely finished.

Hehe, that's so rigth.

But this is giving room for improvements.

 

If we take rF as a record, v1040 was released few weeks after the initial v1020 release.

V1040 was a "fixing bugs" update only and, despite the hard work of devs and testers trying to clean all the bugs before the public release, there is a chance some bugs will appear only after the release, becouse the many different systems combo of the users.

 

I want it now, i dont care if its finished or not

I'm more worried about the release clashing with Star Wars: The Old Republic

 

You'll want to wait until it's finished. The last thing we need is a repeat of NASCAR SimRacing. And that's exactly what will happen if we don't wait.

 

It's ok to wait, but at this rate, the guys developing rFactor 3 will be ready before rFactor 2!

come on isi give us a release date or a progres report , time is going by so fast that i start to lose interest , so come on feed our hunger ,fill us with pleasure but don't waste time!

Actually there are no competitors to rFactor2 so if you're loosing interest in simulation it's ok for me,but if you are looking forward to others great simulators that will come out in this 2011 please tell me,as I don't know;
of course there are some good old products,but as far as i know nothing different from test drive unlimited 2 will come out as new in this year...rfactor2 apart of course

There is no rF2 at all. That's why it cannot has competitors.
But there are titles which truly compete for simracing market.

 

What I am saying is that excluding rfactor2 this year (2011) we won't see anything coming out that is close to simulation,that's why he can't say he's starting loosing interest..we have no alternative;
of course we have other titles out of the market,but everyone can go out and buy them;only rf2 couldn't be bought...just because it still doesn't exist
How can someone be tired of something that haven't seen yet?that's the question!!

just relax and play youtube since rF2 is cooked up

 

looks like SW is gonna be May at the earliest (I bet May The 4th Be With You!), that gives ISI a good few months before I become sleep deprived in the Summer!

So far I'm not impressed by any of the previews (cars and tracks). In fact the last screen (new year, new car thread) looks like someone got Photoshop for christmas and tried the lens flare effects first time. Concerning the graphics everything looks like rfactor 1.3 to me. But as we all know ISI are not modders, they give us the platform to do the modding ... Have a look at the standard content of rfactor and compare it to e.g. Virtua LM, enduracers content.

 

I don't know you what to look great, but I think the rfactor 2 very well look like. The video of SPA is simple amazing.
