Or would be better if you with Scott work together to convert a track that makes seem the Ring a kart track? :p :D :D

Definetly the best permanent race track.

But there were some races in the past, held on public streets that were even more exciting IMO ;)
    And there is rallying.

I hope these sorts of racing will be more present in rF2, with the new point to point suport and all :)

It would be a dream :)
if the mother came with rF2
especially with the new graphic engine
    that is a hint :)

Only agree with the others, nordschleife is in the top of my wishlist. :D
For only some people who will do this in there free time, its more then just a huge projekt. It would be a fulltime job for long time ^^ So Scott you should help us with that and upgrade the track of all tracks to rF2.

    My first comment, hello everyone.

I actually hope its the Le Mans track, 60's style fitting the Spa they showed us a while back.

Le Mans would be epic. I'd prefer the modern version though.

Can you imagine rounding Tetre Rouge in the rain at seven in the morning when everything is still grey. The foggy spray of the Lola Aston Martin LMP1 that passed you screaming in the Esses, and at this moment is no more than two red lights in the distance, has yet to settle above the glistening tarmac of the Hunnaudieres-straight. And yet again, as it has done more that two hundred times at this point in the race the flat-six engine smoothly pulls through fourth gear then smoothly you pull it into fifth. Sixth. It doesn't feel that fast, untill you look at the trees flashing by. Take a breath, because in a few seconds you will be threshold-braking on a dirty, wet track at 260kp/h.

And still nine hours to go...

    Indeed about Le mans.

Good 3D versions of Nurburgring are already exist for RF1. I, personally, would prefer to see ISI Staff keeping focus on the RF2's Core instead of dedicate tons of work on Track modeling.

IMHO a RF2 Nurburgring would be a job for modders.

As with all software, different people work on different things. Track modelling won't affect the development of the software engine.

I'd like to see a proper Modern Le Mans too. We absolutely need it.

he's talking about the Spa track seen in the screenshots ages ago, the use of the word "mother" is just being used to describe the amount of work involved on the track, I'm sure there will be plenty of mod teams looking at bringing tracks to rF2 and would be very surprised if The Ring and Le Mans weren't amongst them at some stage.

Could we get someone to model a very accurate ROAD AMERICA!! I live by this track and would love to race it in rFactor 2. I could do a lot of photo work or anything anyone might need done. Also, is there anyone that could change the cams for the track already done? Is there an easy way to do it?

    Thank you,

    mj

    There's a wip version here

I like the recently-released 1998 version (LINK), dunno the provenance of it, I assume it's scratch.

Well also the dear old North Point and Sardian Park were nice fictitional layouts that would be well worth to have a face lift for the coming title.

Here's to hoping that there are no issues for real tracks in 2 :)

I really love how I can race almost any track in the world on rF1 due to the hard work of ISI and modders - big thank you to all. This is one of the big reasons that I continue to drive in rF all the time instead of other/newer 'sims'. Track-wise, I think that rF is unmatched.

    Cheers!
